WandStore does not use:

  • Customer passwords
  • Payment information
  • Full physical addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Browsing history
  • Fingerprinting data
  • Social media data

Customer email addresses can appear in Shopify admin customer lists for merchant usability, but they are not needed for generated storefront copy.

WandStore stores operational app data needed to run the product. Stored data can include:

  • Store settings and credentials needed to operate the app
  • Theme style profile
  • Generated experience versions and aliases
  • Prompt/debug context for generated versions
  • Customer profile metadata
  • Customer Account tokens for supported customer-account features
  • Analytics events and attribution records

Data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS.

  • Generated versions are retained until they are removed through app lifecycle, deletion, compliance, or support workflows.
  • Customer-account tokens are retained while needed for supported customer-account features.
  • Analytics records are retained for product reporting and attribution.
  • Store credentials and settings are retained while the app remains installed.

When Shopify sends uninstall or compliance webhooks, WandStore removes corresponding customer or store data from app storage.

As a merchant, consider these practices:

  • Update your privacy policy to mention AI-powered storefront personalization.
  • Ensure customer account and consent practices fit your jurisdiction.
  • Handle customer data access and deletion requests through Shopify’s standard workflows.
  • Contact support if you need help reviewing app-specific data.
