Installing the Shopify App
Installing WandStore starts from the WandStore Shopify App Store listing and continues inside Shopify admin.
Installation steps
Section titled “Installation steps”- Open the Shopify App Store from Shopify admin, or visit the WandStore listing directly.
- Click Install on the WandStore app listing.
- Review the requested permissions and click Install app.
- Choose a WandStore plan, or continue with the Free plan when prompted.
- Complete onboarding:
- AI data processing consent
- Theme app block activation
- Setup completion
After onboarding, add app blocks to create surfaces that Studio can target.
What permissions does WandStore need?
Section titled “What permissions does WandStore need?”Shopify asks merchants to approve the permissions WandStore needs for generation, rendering, and analytics.

| Read pixels / write pixels | To install or repair the Shopify Web Pixel used for attribution. |
| Read customer events | To support event and conversion analytics. |
WandStore does not modify products, orders, or discount rules.
The WandStore app
Section titled “The WandStore app”After installation, WandStore is available from Apps > WandStore. The current app navigation includes:
- Dashboard - Setup status, active surfaces, live experiences, drafts, plan usage, and surface performance.
- Studio - Create generated experiences, manage versions, preview drafts, and set versions live.
- Audiences - Search customers and create Shopify-tag cohorts.
- Analytics - Review rendered, visible, click, add-to-cart, checkout, order, and revenue metrics.
- Settings - Manage billing, Shopify connection status, Web Pixel status, and account-level controls.
- Support - Contact support and open product resources.
Use Dashboard, Studio, Audiences, Analytics, and Settings for the main WandStore workflow.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Shopify store: A trial or paid Shopify store.
- Admin permissions: Permission to install apps, plus permission to approve app charges if you choose a paid WandStore plan.
- Theme compatibility: WandStore requires an Online Store 2.0 theme that supports app blocks.
- Customer accounts: Customer-specific experiences require customer accounts to be enabled.
- AI data consent: Generation is disabled until consent is accepted during onboarding.
Enabling customer accounts
Section titled “Enabling customer accounts”Customer-specific experiences are shown to eligible signed-in customers. To enable customer accounts:
- Go to Settings > Customer accounts in Shopify admin.
- Choose either Classic customer accounts or New customer accounts.
- Save your changes.
Default visitor widget experiences can be used without a customer match. Customer and subscription-aware experiences need customer identity.
Plans and generation limits
Section titled “Plans and generation limits”WandStore plans include monthly generation limits. Paid plans can be billed every 30 days or yearly:

Use Settings > Billing in WandStore to review usage or change plans.
