Section titled “What is WandStore?”WandStore is a Shopify app that uses AI to create personalized storefront experiences for your signed-in customers. Each customer sees a unique layout, product selection, and messaging based on their purchase history and shopping style.
Does WandStore change my theme?
Section titled “Does WandStore change my theme?”No. WandStore adds a theme block that sits within your existing theme. Your theme design, layout, and functionality remain exactly as they are. The personalization block operates independently alongside your other theme content.
Does WandStore work with all Shopify themes?
Section titled “Does WandStore work with all Shopify themes?”WandStore works with any Online Store 2.0 theme that supports app blocks. This includes Dawn (Shopify’s default theme) and most modern third-party themes. Older “vintage” themes that don’t support app blocks are not compatible.
Do anonymous visitors see anything different?
Section titled “Do anonymous visitors see anything different?”No. Anonymous visitors (not signed in) see your regular Shopify storefront with no changes whatsoever. The WandStore block is completely invisible to them.
Personalization
Section titled “Personalization”How does WandStore know what to show each customer?
Section titled “How does WandStore know what to show each customer?”WandStore reads the customer’s Shopify purchase history — what they’ve bought, how often, how much they spend, and what categories they prefer. This data is summarized into a behavioral profile, and AI uses that profile to generate a personalized layout.
What are the four customer personas?
Section titled “What are the four customer personas?”WandStore identifies four shopping styles:
- Minimalist — Efficient shoppers who want a clean, fast experience
- Explorer — Discovery-oriented shoppers who enjoy browsing and stories
- Deal Hunter — Price-focused shoppers who love finding value
- Loyalist — Repeat customers who value recognition and easy reordering

Can I choose which persona a customer gets?
Section titled “Can I choose which persona a customer gets?”No, personas are assigned automatically based on purchase behavior. This ensures each customer gets the experience that best matches their actual shopping style. Personas can shift over time as shopping behavior changes.
What happens for new customers with no order history?
Section titled “What happens for new customers with no order history?”New customers with no purchase history receive a lighter, more generic personalization. As they make purchases, their profile becomes richer and personalization becomes more targeted.
Privacy & Data

Section titled “What data does WandStore collect?”WandStore uses Shopify customer and order data, along with product and store context, to personalize storefront content for eligible signed-in customers. It does not collect browsing behavior, use tracking cookies, or access payment information. See Data Usage for the full breakdown.
Is customer data sent to AI?
Section titled “Is customer data sent to AI?”WandStore may use Shopify customer and order context, product data, and merchant-configured store settings to generate personalized storefront content. It does not use payment information, passwords, phone numbers, or browsing-history tracking for personalization. See Privacy Practices for details.
Is WandStore GDPR compliant?

Performance
Section titled “Performance”Does WandStore slow down my store?
Section titled “Does WandStore slow down my store?”No. WandStore loads asynchronously and does not block your theme’s rendering. Personalized storefronts are generated ahead of time and served from cache in under 10 milliseconds — the same speed as static content.
How long does personalization take to generate?
Section titled “How long does personalization take to generate?”Storefronts are generated ahead of time — before the customer visits. Generation takes 2-8 seconds, but this happens in the background when you select customers for personalization. The customer never waits; they always see a pre-generated, cached storefront instantly.
How often does personalized content refresh?
Section titled “How often does personalized content refresh?”Refresh timing depends on the current app implementation and merchant workflow. If you need updated content immediately, use WandStore’s cache or regeneration controls in the app.
Do I need developer skills to set up WandStore?
Section titled “Do I need developer skills to set up WandStore?”No. WandStore installs like any Shopify app and the theme block is added through the visual theme editor — no coding required. See the Quick Start Guide.
Can I use WandStore on multiple pages?
Section titled “Can I use WandStore on multiple pages?”Yes. You can add the WandStore Personalization block to any template that supports app blocks — homepage, collection pages, product pages, and more.
How do I uninstall WandStore?
Section titled “How do I uninstall WandStore?”- Remove the WandStore Personalization block from your theme (Online Store > Themes > Customize).
- Uninstall the app from Apps in your Shopify admin.
Your store will return to showing the standard experience for all visitors. WandStore removes app data through its uninstall and compliance workflows.
